Representing the Geospatial Industry
The Surveying & Mapping Industry Council of NSW (SMIC NSW) is the peak geospatial information industry body in NSW, with representatives from government, private industry, professionals and the tertiary education sectors.
SMIC NSW receives its funding from its constituent organisations in accordance with its Constitution.
2019 NSW Excellence in Surveying and Spatial Information Awards
Held on 7th September and now in its 22nd year, this awards night recognises the achievements of organisations and individuals from across the state who are engaged in the surveying and spatial information profession.

Women in Surveying
On the 6th March 2019, 53 female students from 14 high schools around NSW attended the inaugural Women in Surveying Event organised by ACSNSW.

Scholarship Applications CLOSED
Applications for the SMIC Training Scholarship for TAE40116 Cert IV in Training & Assessment for TAFE NSW part-time teachers in Surveying and/or Spatial Information Services will be available for application early in 2020.
