- Bachelor of Engineering Honours in Surveying - Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)/ Bachelor of Surveying (5 yr) degree The degree covers the entire range of courses that make up the discipline of Surveying and Engineering including land surveying, computer software applications and graphics, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), GPS satellite positioning, cadastral and engineering surveying, mapping, geodesy, land management, land development, photogrammetry and remote sensing.
The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Surveying) concerns the measurement, analysis, management and sharing of special data describing space, the earth, its physical features and the built environment. It combines academic studies with real-life projects, producing graduates that are highly sought after both nationally and internationally in a variety of industries. Double degree option - Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil) / Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Surveying)
TAFE NSW currently offers the following qualifications: - Cert III in Surveying & Spatial Information Services - Cert IV in Surveying - Cert IV in Spatial Information Services - Diploma of Surveying - Diploma of Spatial Information Services Campus locations are Ultimo, Wollongong, Newcastle & Thurgoona Courses are available by Correspondence, Full Time & Part Time. Traineeships are available
SMIC in conjunction with TAFE NSW offer a scholarship program for potential part-time teachers in Surveying and Spatial Information who are studying towards their TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
